Utah County · Updated June 2026
Three districts cover Utah County today. In 2027 that changes for half the county. Tap your city to see where it lands.
All green-tinted cities are Alpine School District today. On July 1, 2027, Alpine dissolves into three new districts: Aspen Peaks, Lake Mountain, and Timpanogos, shown by the tints and dashed lines. Each city moves whole into its new district. Boundaries shown follow city lines; a few edges differ, so always verify a specific address with the district lookup tools below.
Alpine School District, Utah's largest, dissolves on July 1, 2027. Voters approved the split in the 2024 general election, and the new district names are now official: Aspen Peaks School District (Lehi, American Fork, Highland, Cedar Hills, Alpine, and part of Draper), Lake Mountain School District (Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Cedar Fort, and Fairfield), and Timpanogos School District (Orem, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, and Vineyard).
Each city moves whole into its new district. Nebo and Provo City school districts are not affected. School assignments within the new districts are still being finalized by the incoming administrations.
The only way to know for certain is the district's own lookup tool. Put the actual address in.
