All green-tinted cities are Alpine School District today. On July 1, 2027, Alpine dissolves into three new districts: Aspen Peaks, Lake Mountain, and Timpanogos, shown by the tints and dashed lines. Each city moves whole into its new district. Boundaries shown follow city lines; a few edges differ, so always verify a specific address with the district lookup tools below.

The 2027 Alpine split, explained

Alpine School District, Utah's largest, dissolves on July 1, 2027. Voters approved the split in the 2024 general election, and the new district names are now official: Aspen Peaks School District (Lehi, American Fork, Highland, Cedar Hills, Alpine, and part of Draper), Lake Mountain School District (Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Cedar Fort, and Fairfield), and Timpanogos School District (Orem, Pleasant Grove, Lindon, and Vineyard).

Each city moves whole into its new district. Nebo and Provo City school districts are not affected. School assignments within the new districts are still being finalized by the incoming administrations.

Buying with school-age kids before 2027? Ask specifically which new district your address will fall under, and verify with the official lookup tools below. Boundaries follow city lines, but a few edges differ, and a Zillow listing is not a source.

Verify a specific address

The only way to know for certain is the district's own lookup tool. Put the actual address in.
